Workwear bootstrapped startup Solero is a Mumbai based B2B Apparel Company founded in 2015 by Deepak Kanodia, Neha Kanodia, and Mahesh Kumar Kanodia.

Workwear apparel startup Solero has started its operations in 2015 with Rs 23 lakhs annual turnover, and now in 2019, the company achieved Rs 1.15 crore turnovers with many corporate clients.

Apparel startup provides on-order delivery of workwear products to corporate clients, and school uniforms to private schools. The concept is to provide quality uniform dresses as per the needs of the clients at affordable rates.

Deepak Kanodia completes his MBA from Amity Business School, and also a registered CFA. He is working as Director Marketing & Operations in the startup Solero, and has a wider experience with many investment firms as a financial expert, and started entrepreneurship in workwear focused B2B business model.

Neha Kanodia (Director – Production), worked as a senior Merchandiser for close to 5 years for clients like Mcdonald’s, Burger King, Jet Airways, etc. where work was to look in procurement, sampling, and execution of the orders successfully.

Mahesh Kumar Kanodia (Director – Finance), CA by profession, he was CFO at LML Motors, with experience spanning more than 35 years in accounting, audit, cash budgeting and management. He has experience of working with audit firms such as Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young, and with Supreme Court and High Court advocates of high repute.

At present, the company claims that it has a portfolio of more than 630 products and already sold more than 126,000 products to its clients.

Deepak Kanodia said that Solero is expanded its business with a healthy CAGR of 40%, in the last four years.

Solero focuses on customization as it has inhouse designers in place and thereby expanded to other verticals like Hotels, Hospitals, Sports, Aviation, Maritime, Retail and Corporate gifting. On-demand designated products like Customised Uniforms, Mugs, Umbrellas, Pillows, Magnets, Bags and much more have increased exponentially as many companies want to promote their corporate identity and branding.

The sector is highly unorganized in India, and now with new technology, many players are coming with a wide range of products from the premium range to cost-effective. Solero is making its footprint in the sector with its wide range of product portfolio and proactive business plan.
