Indian Cow, the backbone of Indian rural economy

Cow-based startups will get 60 % funding from Government, the announcement made by the Chairman of Kamdhenu Ayog, Vallabh Kathiria.

Interacting with students and scholastic experts of the Entrepreneur Development Institute of India, Gandhinagar, he said that startups that focus on Cow Dung and Cow Urine will get the benefit of 60% funding of initial investment.

This funding aims to support and push up the cow-based entrepreneurship in India.

The kamdhenu aayog, set up by the Narendra Modi government in February 2019 with an initial corpus of Rs. 500 crore to support the initiative.

The move will benefit the Gaushalas spreads over nationwide. Many Ayurvedic products available in India made from Cow Urine, Cow Ark (made from Urine) and Cow Dung are now got the technology support.

Rashtriya Kamdhenu Ayog and Ministry of AYUSH Joint Venture is working together to give support and market the products made from Panchgavya(five cow products – cow urine, dung, milk, curd and ghee).

The product is for the pregnant woman. If a pregnant woman consumes this product regularly in the prescribed dosage then she might give birth to highly smart and intelligent children. 

The government’s support will encourage research on the medicinal value of cow by-products.

Minister said that the government created a cow tourism circuit to promote the cow breed, the route includes the states Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, and Goa.
